Six women to crew Blue Origin flight to boundary of space
An all-female crew will fly into space later this year, featuring superstar Katy Perry and TV personality Gayle King. Former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe also will be on board, and gives Becky Anderson a preview of the mission.

Blue Origin will have an all-female crew that’s traveling into space from the company’s launch site in West Texas. Katy Perry joins a crew that includes Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn, who are launching into space aboard Blue Origin's New Shephard rocket, NS-31.
Blue Origin to Launch First All Women Space Flight Since 1963
Blue Origin makes history with its first all women space flight, marking the first women-only crewed mission since 1963.
