The Pittsburgh Steelers are still weighing their options under center for 2025. After a season of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, general manager Omar Khan was not impressed with either one, and it's unlikely that either one will return.
Darnold put together his best seasons as a quarterback with the Vikings. He threw for 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while amassing 4319 yards on a 66 percent completion percentage. All of that paints a sparkling picture, but the last two games of the season likely tanked Darnold’s value.

Omar Khan would not confirm or deny whether the Steelers reached out to Matthew Stafford's agent. "All options are on the table," he said.
