Jordan Binnington made 27 saves as the St. Louis Blues defeated the visiting Colorado Avalanche 3-1 Sunday. Brayden Schenn, Colton Parayko and Dylan Holloway scored for the Blues, who had just two victories in their previous nine games.
Jack Hughes leads the Devils in goals (26), is tied for first in points (68) and second in assists (42). Jesper Bratt leads New Jersey in assists (51), is tied for first in points (68) and fourth in goals (17).
For the second straight season, the Colorado Avalanche were hot going into the midseason break and then stumbled its way through a road trip coming out of it.
