No. 1 Auburn used a dominating stretch in the second half to beat No. 4 Michigan, 78-65, and advance to the Elite Eight. The Tigers went on a 20-2 run to flip a 48-39 Michigan lead into a big advantage. Michigan led by nine with 12:26 to go but found itself down by that same margin just under five minutes later.

Auburn basketball fans were the vast majority of the crowd at State Farm Arena — and they let Michigan know it every time the Tigers made a play.

Michigan's Goldin was fouled after a layup attempt, but he missed both attempts. Broome helped Auburn retake the lead with 34 seconds left in the first half, while Goldin missed the last attempt before halftime. It was a 30-29 Tigers lead going into the locker room.
