This article contains major spoilers from Episode 7 of Hulu's "Paradise," titled "The Day.” Sterling K. Brown has been preparing “Paradise” co-star James Marsden for an Emmy nod for his performance on the Dan Fogelman-created drama since they began filming the penultimate episode of Season 1.

The Paradise premiere started with the president (Marsden) being found dead in his home by Secret Service Agent Xavier Collins ( Sterling K. Brown ). An investigation quickly began as Xavier searched for answers and thought back on his relationship with Cal courtesy of flashbacks.

"Morality seems much clearer when you are not a decision-maker," Brown told IndieWire while breaking down the show's pivotal, penultimate episode.

The season finale of “Paradise” premieres on Hulu (and Disney+) on Tuesday, March 4, at 12:00 a.m. ET. “Paradise” is a Hulu original, so of course, it’s streaming on Hulu. However, all Hulu and Disney+ subscribers can watch all things Hulu on both services.

The mystery surrounding the death of the president and the construction of a strange underground city is about to extend for another year: Hulu has renewed Paradise for a second season.
