The causes of death for three Revere women who died while vacationing in Belize was “acute pulmonary edema,” or build up of fluid in the lungs, and their bodies are scheduled to return to the United States on Thursday,

Three women from Revere, Massachusetts were found dead in their hotel room in Belize. WBZ-TV's Courtney Cole spoke with an investigator in Belize about the cause of death.

The mayor of Revere, Massachusetts, said the three were members of the community there and expressed concern over the level of transparency from Belizean authorities.
